About the Course
The students--from all three SOC program divisions--are working in small teams and will chronicle their New Hampshire experiences in 3- to 5-minute video vignettes. Each vignette will focus on a different subject.
Three full-time SOC faculty members--all highly experienced working professionals-- are teaching the new course: Dotty Lynch, a consultant for CBS News steeped in political polling; Lynne Perri, former deputy managing editor for graphics and photography at USA Today; and Bill Gentile, a photojournalist and documentary filmmaker whose credits include work for Newsweek, ABC News Nightline and Bill Moyers' NOW. Glenn Luther, an SOC staff member pursuing his journalism MA, gave on-the-ground technical assistance and is working closely with the teams as they finalize their videos. You can read about Luther's own documentary project and his New Hampshire experience on his blog.
